Alexander Voigt (born April 13, 1978 in Cologne) is a German football player, who plays for FC Carl Zeiss Jena.[2]
Voigt started his career with 1. FC Köln (1998-05), where he also started to play when he was only nine years old. He also played in the Netherlands for Roda Kerkrade (2005–06), before moving to FC Carl Zeiss Jena, where he played only a half year.[3] In 2007 he joined Borussia Mönchengladbach, in winter 2009 he was released by the same club and moved on 12 January 2009 to SpVgg Greuther Fürth.[4] On 15 June 2009 was announed he will released by SpVgg Greuther Fürth[5] only one day later on 16 June 2009 signed an contract with FSV Frankfurt.[6] On 15 July 2010 announced his return to FC Carl Zeiss Jena.[7]
